 Bethel CC Leadership
Dear Friend/visitor,

Welcome to Bethel Community Church Web site. It’s a pleasure and a joy to have you visit us.

As you explore our site, you’ll find everything from links to our latest services to great videos & articles to help you understand and grow in Christian faith.

As well as info on our upcoming events and spiritual resources that will help you with everyday living.

Most of all, you’ll find that it is our mission at Bethel CC to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known. Our prayer is that the information you find will empower you to do the same.

If you are a first time visitor, I'd like to encourage you to go to our Services page. There you’ll find information for our service times of both venues, what to expect on your first visit, and what’s available for you, and your family.

I want to thank you for visiting our Web site and also to extend a personal invitation to welcome you to our Sunday services and to our Tuesday (Kenfig Hill) & Wednesdays (Maesteg) mid-week meetings.

Whether in person, on our Facebook page or this website, you’ll discover a worship service centred on our Saviour Jesus Christ.

We believe you are a vital part of God’s plan, and we would be blessed to have you join us in knowing God and making Him known. We want you to know that you are Loved by God, He has a plan for your life and that you are FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE.

We wish you every blessing on your journey through our website and in your daily walk.

I became a Christian at the age of 10 when my parents started to go to church. However, I didn’t make a whole hearted commitment, but unknown to me, God had made a whole hearted commitment to me, because he had a plan for my life. I was written off at school, but God got me into a better school which eventually lead me to attend University and my first Job which brought me to Wales. Circumstances in life got me to a point where I made a whole hearted commitment to God and life has never been the same since.
Back in May 2019 I took up one of the leadership positions within Bethel, which was the last thing that I expected or was looking to do, but when God calls you to do something, I have found its best to say yes! Especially as he will also help you in what he calls you to be – after all its his plan so he will want it to succeed!
As one of the leaders of the church, I want to help people know that being a Christian is not about rules and regulations, it’s about relationship, it’s about family and yes, being a Christian does not guarantee a life of blue skies and sunshine. There will be times where storms occur in our lives (Now it’s not me saying this, Jesus said it). But I have found that when you know that God is bigger than anything this world can throw at you, that he loves you and the plans he has for your life are the best, then you will know peace and have a hope that will allow you to face anything.

Elder - Ray DuffyHi we are both delighted that you have found us on the web!. Members of this congregation come from differing backgrounds and we as a church family delight in uniting each of them in our love for Jesus and for each other. We are thrilled that we can serve Him together and welcome His presence into our worship and day to day lives. We long to see people grow in Jesus. So, from stories within our Kids clubs to biblical teaching and preaching we aim to give young and old alike a deeper understanding of the Word of God.

May God blessings be with you.
